In this episode, David travels to the Maine woods where he witnesses the complex ecosystem of an old growth forest and the devastation that follows clear cutting timber for paper production. Later, David makes some alarming discoveries about paper mill waste emptying into the Androscoggin River and clusters of cancer patients in the vicinity.
