| Dear Elvis Costello - WHAT were you thinking??? Renee FLeming Fleming is a world class artist who deserves an entire hour to herself! As an opera singer, I was deeply moved by her description of the opera singer's world. You were just starting to hit your interview groove when you ruined the show by bringing on the poseur Rufus Wainwright. I was pissed!! I have been loving this show. It provides a great forum to really hear the artists talk about their craft and influences. I have loved all of the episodes, with one exception: Wainwright. What an insufferable personality! His "talent" is barely formed. HE already had a whole freaking hour to himself, and yet you hijacked Renee's episode with this annoying guy? I will keep watching, but I will be slow to forgive. Scheduling Wainwright has been your one misstep thus far. Great show and (mostly) great guests! | |
