RE: spectacle: elvis costello with... Posted on Dec 3 2008 at 11:25pm by I agree, that was freckin awesome, I would love to see more of the artist chit chattin about what they like and stuff like that, I sat there with my jaw dropped open going "I cant beleive this", I really loved it. And Allen Tousaint, saw him in Baton Rouge with Dr. John. I hope Elvis gets Mack Rubenack on, being from louisiana ..... he is in my soul, and somehow, somewhere, i hope Elvis and Elton get to read this cuz i enjoyed the hell out of it, Thanks.
Craig in Baton Rouge

I hope to interview you again as I did in New Orleans at JazzFest right after Katrina 3 years ago - thank you for that. Please tell your producers that your fans really appreciate this concept.

RE: spectacle: elvis costello with... Posted on Dec 18 2008 at 3:11pm by Best concept for a talk show by far. I've been a Costello fan for 20+ years and I'm always impressed by whatever he does. I've seen at minimum 20 shows over the years. Not only has this series been a blast for me, but my 14 year old son watches it as well and is truely getting an unbelievable history lesson. (Not that he knows that.) I've been telling everyone its a must see. If the first three episodes are any indication of those to come, then renewal is an absolute no brainer. Kudos to those at Sundance who picked up this show. Way to go Mr. MacManus.
RE: spectacle: elvis costello with... Posted on Jan 4 2009 at 12:58pm by Like Elvis, I worked in a record store while going to college, in the early 70's This is a great series! Please continue. Living in Shreveport, La., it's nice to see James Burton playing in the band. Being born and raised in Arkansas, the interview with Bill Clinton was very informative. This is the best talk/music show on television. An episode related to the "blues" would be nice, too. Maybe take it on the road. Keep up the great work. I love this show. Thank you Elton and Elvis.
