Older Mobile Home Posted on Jul 12 2008 at 5:02pm by I have a mobile home manufactured in 1977...it is falling apart and I live in an area of the country that seems to have missed the green bus (i.e. I went looking for some sort of rain barrel type pieces parts to build my own rain water collection system and could not find anything other than, maybe a huge trashcan)
I really need some ideas as to how to rehab this thing. If I was on my own property, I'd turn it into an earthship, somehow or another....but the trailer park won't even let me have a garden (which is why I am trying to pull together a rainwater collection system) because the cost of water is built into lot rent.
Any help and/or ideas will be much appreciated
