I just finished watching this movie on my cable's feature, OnDemand. It has been a long time since I have been this moved by a documentary. I can't thank all those involved with this project...from the convicts, the ranch, and the filmmakers. In a time in this world when patience is perceived as weakness instead of virtue, it is comforting to know there are those who still believe.
I would also like to know what has happened to the cowboys, but I also wonder how they would feel with the lack of privacy? Do they want to ride off into the sunset into a blissful obscurity that I call real life? Would having small base of a hopeful few people help keep them on the right trail? Could the pressure of letting those hopeful people down in the presence of a set back be harder for a cowboy than breaking a horse?
If I were in their boots, I don't know how I would answer that. |
