What does it mean to be a free woman? Posted on May 8 2008 at 12:20am by I am wondering what other women and men feels it means to be a free woman today?

Two of her husbands died on her and one of them left her for another woman. But even when she was married, she always said the sam thing: Freedom is being able to do what you want, when you want it, and not not having a man tell you what to do. now my aunt is 70 now, so she has always been in marriages where the men dominated her, but now she talks about how great it is to be single and eat what you want, when you want it and to not have to cook for anyone but her self. She says she only felt free when she finally became a widow at age 57.

Posted on May 14 2008 at 4:21pm by I think being a free woman means living your life without caring what other people are going to think about how you live it. To me, you can either let yourself be trapped or you can not let yourself be trapped. Because in the long run, what difference does it make what other people think, as long as you know you are doing the right thing. RE: What does it mean to be a free woman? I have a man because I want one, but I don't need one. I have a job because I want one, not because I need one (actually thats not true, at this point in my life I really do need one). And if I decide to have a kid, it will be because I want one, not because i need one.
