| Anyone having problems with what I call 'Audio Terroism'? Trucks and cars with extremely LOUD exhaust pipe and cars with subwoofers and LOUD speakers are ruining my life. An audiologist I spoke with said that my brain constantly has to interpret what the sounds are which causes major stress on me mentally and physically. I can't walk in a park, eat at a restaurant, attend a funeral...anything without hearing these NASCAR wannabes tearing by or loud booming coming through my walls at home. I know there are laws against this but the police can't catch everyone. Unless I could move to a remote, quiet location...I'm stuck. The elderly and those who can't afford to buy lots of acreage are doomed to this annoyance for life. This is truly affecting my life in a negative way. My constitutional rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are being violated. Any thoughts? | |
