Fascinating Film

I was first drawn in by the stunning cinematography in and around "the cage," but it was the story of Sam's slide into bipolar disease and the relationship between Sam and the filmaker, Ben, that kept me glued to the film. It is a fascinating picture of the transformation of a man which we rarely get to see. It also raises thoughtful questions about the relationship of the filmmaker to the subject, especially when that subject becomes a friend. We all need to see more ot these kinds of films.
