creating a third party platform Posted on Oct 20 2007 at 8:00am by I would like to proffer an idea for a series of television programs. The end result would be to create the platform for a third party. Not a third party but rather the platform.
Does anyone believe that anything will really change in the upcoming election? As constituted the Washington political establishment either will not or can not find answers to the critical issues facing the nation.
I propose bringing together divergent political philosophies. Not merely for debate but with a mandate to find answers to the questions of war, health care, energy independence, immigration and a plethora of issues that continue to eat away at our republic. To ask the difficult questions such as should the nation continue as constituted? We could prove to the nation that problems can be solved and hope is not impossible.
We would be creating historic television and speaking to a large hopeful audience.
I have a background in broadcast journalism. This is my idea and I know how to get it done. This message is for the staff at sundance. I look forward to hearing from you.
