I'm so sorry about your mother's passing. Not for her, of course, but for her loved ones left to miss her. I saw her on Larry King the other night, and was so touched that even just hours from her death, she wanted to reach out and share her Christianity. Most people withdraw when they are so sick and only close family has contact with them, but she had such a big heart, that she wanted to keep spreading her love of God. I heard her message about loving God and going to Heaven, and I'll never forget it.

Your mom will be sorely missed Jay, but you know that. I hate to sound cliche but: there are no words to express the sorrow the world will feel with her passing. God bless.

Condolences to Jay and family in the loss of Tammy Faye. Having watched your series, I know how much you loved and cared for your mom. I had first become "acquainted" with her via Through the Eyes of Tammy Faye which was a loving portrait of a really compassionate woman. I am a non-theist and believe that "religions" and faith in them are a very destructive force for the earth and humanity, but I think your congregation or whatever it is is a positive force and your mom was a positive force in the world. I'm glad her suffering is over.

      Jay-
our prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time. My husband and I live in LL near your mom. She was a beloved member of our community. Our hope is that you continue to bring your word to more young people through your ministry and your show.

I never reply or get involved with media ,but Tammy Faye was someone I just cant seem to get out of my mind. I saw her on Larry King and she has got to be one of the kindest, strongest, most "iconic" people of our time. I think she could be put up for sainthood. Jay, I was raised a preachers kid, and frankly, hate what the church stands for or better yet, religon. Watching your seires on sundance has touched me, and I wish there were a way for me to a participate in what you have started with Revolution. I'm sure I did not watch your documentary by chance. Thanks for sharing your life, my heart goes out to your family, you were blessed to have experienced a mothers love like that. Shelley
