I became aware, at the age of 22 in the late '70's, of Helmut Newton's work, and started studying, as well as admire and revere his photography. (White Women,Portraits, etc.)
This man changed my life when it came to my perception of photography as art.
I only wish I could have thanked him in person for being such a positive artistic influence on me.
This show was just incredible and I sat mesmerized through the entire program.
Thank you for showing the rest of the world what an artistic genius this man was. |

I can only agree, I wish that I had met him. Over the past 30 years I had the good fortune of getting paid to photograph various women, some photo sessions were free (as favors for certain friends)both clothed and unclothed, nothing "rude". From "the Girl Next Door" type to the Movie Queen type, all were lovely and in my eye, still are.
