Why I like her, she's sassy, as a person who came out of a legalistic dress code society I respect her and admire her for dressing the way she wants and being just beautiful the way she is without worrying about what people think of her. she's abeautiful woman!

She has been subjected to so much ridicule essentially because of her makeup, strangely Marylin Manson and Eddie Izzard can wear anything they want and are thought to be innovators. It's like Eddie says: "It's 70% how you look..." I wish her all the best and a soft ride into whatever the future may hold. Best wishes.

It was heart breaking and also reminded me I need to love my mom more. It was a very touching episode and moved me very much. My mom used to watch PTL when I was a young child and loved Jim and Tammy. I wish you and your family the best during this difficult time Jay. My Mom has been really sick too--hip replacement, colon cancer, pulmonary embolus, and collapsed vertebre. She's doing OK now. But suddenly she is old and frail and there is no part of me that expected that. Every time I see her I have a heart beat of surprize and then I recognise her. I think she is grateful for that, that I manage to recognise her. In that moment she sees all those issues of hatred, realization of neglect, failure to protect, failure to encourage, get folded away and she is a person. And in folding them away I'm a person too. I am left with the realization that this is a little old person who loves me very much and who will not be here for that much longer. I think she might see someone so ready to condemn her whose energy for that is sapped away by the realization that they love her. We are both transformed. I don't know if that makes any sense to you, if it doesn't forgive my ramblings, if it does I hope it gives you some solace.

She was such an inspiration of Christ's love and I am so blessed to have known her. It is extremely hard to watch the deteriation of someone you love, but just know there a many prayers being said for your family.

I like to think of myself as somone who does what he wants without worrying about what others think, but I gave my own courage a boost after seeing what bravery Tammy Fay Messner had shown the world. She is blessed to have someone as great as Jay in her life to lift her spirit at this time.
I even started thinking about my relationship with others and with the holy spirit because of her. Her son, in turn, has brought spirituality back into my life. As someone on the show said, I was giving God one last chance, and with Jay and Tammy, I wasn't disappointed.

Thank you Jay and Tammy for blessing me honoring me with the ability to call Tammy my BUDDY,HERO, and FRIEND. Tammy you trully are my hero in so manys. You are such a talented and beautiful woman. I am graced and moved beyond words, I thank God for you everyday. You don't know how much of an example you really are to me, I love you Tammy and Jay and your family.-
RE: For Tammy Posted on Jan 22 2007 at 12:37am by I am a preacher's son as well. When I was growing up my parents watched The PTL Club constantly. I was very familiar with Jim and Tammy. They were on our living room television so much they were practically like members of our own family. When I saw your mother in the last episode my heart broke. What a fragile woman she has become. I remember her standing proudly next to Jim every day on TV. I remember her singing praises to God with a constant smile on her face. She has always reminded me of my own mother. I called my mom the next day just to tell her that I love her. That's something that I realized I don't do enough. Thinking back over the years of SNL skits and Tonight Show routines regarding your parents, I can only imagine the mental toll it must have taken on them, as well as you. I hope that your mother knows that she is loved. Not only by her family, but by the folks that watched all those years ago. She is an amazing woman and an incredible spiritual leader. I'm happy that her faith has remained strong over the years. Jay, I hope that you continue to do God's work, wherever it may take you. RE: For Tammy Posted on Feb 22 2007 at 1:52am by I love Tammy Faye Bakker. I rented "The Eyes of Tammy Faye" and was very glad that I did. It opened my eyes.
I am so sad to hear about Tammy's illness. I lost my mom to lung cancer 16 years ago. I was 31 at the time. I'm still not over it.
My heart goes out to Jay during this very scary time. My prayers also.

Seeing your Father speak at your new church touched me, ,,,I'm sorry, my heart is so torn right now...my father was in the room with me-his first time to see your show, and I hoped that he heard your message of grace. Your Dad's courage to visit, speak, and realize the greater need, hopefully had some impact on my Dad. We all have watched you grow up and we've all been waiting for the "prodigal son" to speak. We- my mother,father, 2 sisters and 1 brother, back in the PTL days, looked to your parents ministry and received the word of God Now you have opened my eyes, you're giving to those who need the word that love and acceptance is the greater need. Your Mother has really kept me going through my troubled years with her strong faith, and I never stop praying for her to be free of her cancer. I am a bit of a procrastinator, because I watched her on Larry King one night, wrote down her address, but cannot put the love I feel on paper...now her health is very real and I'm afraid I waited too late. She was my rock, my anchor, she kept me grounded when I needed God. We have never judged your family, only prayed they would continue their ministry. What a great job they have done with you...a preacher man! Your message is one I've tried to spread to anyone who will listen, and for whatever reason I am where I am today, I finally know God is the reason. I found my faith again through you, and please don't ever stop. I watch as often as I can, and have to convince my extended family to watch, not judge the package, just watch because this is the word of God. (it's funny to see how frightened people get when the packaging is tattoos and such) I felt as an outccast because of my ink, and they were afraid of me too. But love and God's word is under all of our packaging, and now they are realizing that maybe they need to look deep within themselves,God is working through you Jay. And I need you and Amanda to "drive on" for me. This is your calling. I thank you and hope your doors all open. The greater need is to minister the word to the people,it saves lives...(till we all see Jesus) Your mother is my angel, and my life was saved because of her. I am praying for revolution to receive the funding it takes to reach all the people. We need you. She is a someone we can all look to for the heart of Christ. I pray for her and hope for her full recovery.
The Revolution Church is a blessing, truly following the love of the Lord and his commandment to love one another. The church's take on the homosexual lifestyle is one we should be discussing and looking for answers to. I have homosexual friends, but couldn't bring myself to vote in favor of gay-marriage. This has been a perplexing issue for me.
Jay thank you for letting TV crews into you life, it strenthens our hearts and faith in the Lord.
