The problem that I have in not listening to jay is that he has a psychological aspect that I relate to alot, i don't know if you'd call it a dark side or just the craziness that goes along with being an ex-Pentecostal.But I've only known a few of us that can relate and we all seem to be ex-Pentecostal. Thats the idea of having to release a little of the past by making fun of our past with the church, I think some would see it as a dark side and I now and then like to call it my dark side. But I think some see it as being plain crazy.

For instance when he was on the set of his Dad's minstry he came out with a little 'praise the lawd alleluia" then said now and then I got a let a little of the old Jay come out in jest sort of with a comical edge. I know what he means, I have to watch the movie Great Balls Of Fire now and then to watch Jerry Fallwell calling rocknroll of the devil to laugh at it, I roll on the floor laughing at it. But I think most people think that kind of humor is nuts or crazy or sinister or dark alittle, and I admit I have a dark side, something I could not admit to myself in the past.

But I think most people think thats nuts you know craziness, but goes along with the territory of being an ex-Pentecostal I think, and alot of poeple think its crazy, it's just nice to know someone out there in the world like the Bakkers can relate to that.

Even his Mom Tammy Faye has been known to jest at herself. I don't know if anyone ever saw her performance on the Roseanne show in the early 90's making fun of herself, but I highly suggest if you ever get the chance to see that do, it was hillarius.
