| I saw this film at a Los Angeles screening last night. I am so thankful to the producer, Moshe Levinson, for formulating the concept of this movie and making it possible. With over 230 hours of footage, the director and editor did a fine job of stringing it all together in a cohesive fashion. This film shows the true face of the Israeli people, so different than what most media portrays. Here is evident the strength, the depth, the love, loyalty and integrity--of both sides, in this case the army and the settlers of Gush Katif, the latter who were compelled out of their homes in Israel's attempt to make peace with the Palestinians; and the army compelled to make it happen. There was no blood shed during this operation. Living and operating in peace IS the Israeli Jewish way; they are not inherently violent people. They are strong, stubborn people, but they are not inherently violent. This is a truth every single American Jew and non-Jew needs to understand, NOW. Israel needs our support NOW. Please, watch this film and allow yourself to be educated. Do not fight the Israeli Jews true to their homeland, support them! | |
