Movie about poet/playwrite? Latino? Posted on Aug 12 2006 at 12:00am by I saw a movie a long time ago about this poet/playwrite that I think was either Peurto Rican or Dominican. It starts with him in prison reciting the poem "Black woman with a blonde wig on," and ends with everyone who knew him reading his poem "lay me down on the lower east side" (I think that's how it goes). Also the movie switches between what's "actually" going on and an autobiographical play. Please help me...its been years and I want this film so bad.
