    To say that someone has reached celebrity status is to say they are an icon.
    Icon- One who is the object of great attention and devotion; an idol: "He is ... a pop icon designed and manufactured for the video generation" Harry F. Waters.

    Of course their is other definitions.

    Me and my pears regard ourselves as iconoclastic.

    I am presently delving into these definitions and for me.
    iconoclasm is questioning, challenging oneself to decide and make a opinion by ones self without influence of others especially likable well knowns.
    Please correct us if we are wrong in our chosen label.
    We simply wish to keep the integrity of this word if we are going to use it and be represented by it.
    I would like to challege the Sundance Channel to look a little deeper and not be influenced by pop media. Their are many interesting iconoclasts out their that have yet to be heard from.
    You've picked an interesting title topic. Obviously you got me motivated to act.
