We want to know your opinions about our new series OUTRAGEOUS WASTERS. Can the Withey family (and the other families featured on the show) change their garbage-producing, unsustainable ways? Or will they simply revert to their bad habits once the show is over? Is there really long-term hope for families like them?

Let us know what you think.

I don't know if the Withey family can make a permanent change? Just seeing all that good food go in the garbage make me sick. I know families that would eat well off of their garbage. Add to it that recycling dosen't even come into their minds is terrible. Stella just wants to pitch everything in the garbage and let the garbage men take it away. This family is going to need a drastic attitude adjustment to change.

What spoiled rotten people! The scary thing about this show is that it really does expose people's apathy, ignornace and indulgence when it comes to wasting resources and leaving huge carbon footprints. I hope an American version of "outrageous wasters" come soon. For now, this is like the best home maker-over show I've seen, hands down.

I totally agree with you, volcanoblastcleveland. I was appalled to see so much perfectly good food just thrown away!

Wow fun show, interesting, I do have issue with the female enviromentalist stating that 60% of what you put on your skin is absorbed, She is not a Dr. or Esthetician, and therefor not qualified to make a statement like that. Furthermore just because it is absorbed by the skin does not mean it enters the blood stream, I would expect someone with a degree to know that espically someone spouting about on the TV. Additionally, I don't so much like that the show/hosts seems happy to make fun of the participants. While I want to see changes on enviroment awarness and change; the enviormentalist seems completely dis-jointed with a life that includes a 40 hr a week work to pay the bills, or how conter-productive it is to push things we just won't do or that are unsanitary. I would like to see more realistic options. How much $$ and resources did they expend on the Solar Salon? I like the recycling windows, but how does one open the window for a breeze with the new recycling apperatus again seems unrealistic and enviromentally unsound if you can't open the windows? 1 load of laundry per week, WHAT who has a washer big enough to hold clothes from 4 people, plus sheets for 3 beds? Because being less clean actually I think the word is DIRTY is so much better, and helps the enviroment. Not so impressed with the enviromentalist, they seem a bit arogant. Maybe next show will be more impressive and less agressive to the guests. AGAIN MORE REALITY ABOUT WHAT WE CAN DO TO CHANGE OUR HABITS AND HAVE LESS INPACT AND LESS TV HYPE. Cannot believe they were allowed to crush the vehicles. CRAZY..

Are you considering a US version? Would love this. Constantly working w/family to improve, but I figured our carbon foot print last night & it was over 100,000. (with a hybrid car, recycling... already in place) Am quite appauled & having trouble convincing the family to help.
