I'm not sure if it mentioned it during the film, but did the building get its gold that it was reaching for? I'm going to continue to investigate, but if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd like to read updates about this project. Thanks, Marylou

I want to Thank Sundance for an amazing show. As and Architect and LEED AP, I am disappointed in that the Green movement has forced designers to "point chase" designs. I applaud the shows recognition of the importance of embodied energy of product choices e.g. the bamboo traveling from China vs. supporting sustainable forestry practices in the US. We need to realize that the carbon emissions of the 1st year of a buildings life is as important if not more then the life of the building. Stats indicate that by 2030 75% of the building stock will be new or renovated buildings! We need to regulate the embodied energy as closely as the energy it will ultimately consume. Thankyou for getting this right in the program.
