Consume more to consume less? Posted on Apr 15 2008 at 3:54pm by On my iGoogle page I placed a "hints for green living" gadget. One day, the hint urged, in one sentence, something like, "...get rid of your vinyl shower curtains..."
In the very next sentence (or, one might say, the same breath), the hint explained "...because vinyl is harmful to dispose of..."
It seems all too often we rush with joy to acquire goods that are earth-friendly. We might instead first get by.
