Event Marker not working?

Thanks for creating this Eco-mmunity. I am trying to add a new marker to the Map regarding an upcoming Green Gourmet Eco Speaker Series that will be held throughout the LA area. Everytime I try to add the Event Marker, it always comes up as an "Individual" marker instead. I'd love to be able to post information about this exciting series of events which include Green Chefs, bringing together an eco-conscious community in Green Homes, and raising development funds for a Girls Sustainability Initiative. I am using a Mac. Any help or insight regarding this error would be wonderful. Many thanks!
