| I am most excited about seeing Alicia Keyes and Ruby Dee...Alicia seems to be wise beyond her years. I'm sure Ruby Dee's experiences will teach her even more. Can't wait!

I agree with the previous comment; I too, am looking forward most to Ruby Dee and Alice Keys.
In relation to Ruby Dee, I have followed her and Ozzie Davis since I first heard of them, that was in the fifties when I first came to New York. I thought they were a perfect pairing both on stage and off. As to Alice Keys I know the name and look forward to finding out more about her. To be a match up with Ruby Dee means she muct have a lot to offer.

| I am embarrased to admit that I have just discovered "Iconoclast". I'm watching the first show of Season Three featuring Ms. Ruby Dee and Alicia Keys and it is absolutely amazing.

| Don't feel bad. I'm even more out of the loop than you, as I have yet to watch my first episode. I only just found out about it through this site, which I found a link to while I was browsing through a Josh Lucas fansite. I'm holding out for Iconoclasts to pair Josh Lucas with Paul Newman, if they heed my suggestion. I can't say what pairing I'm excited about because I have no idea what's up and coming, but I do know that I'll be watching religiously, just as often as I can, from now on.

"Fiona Apple & Quentin Tarantino"
The Iconoclasts series (the episodes I’ve seen) have actually served as another set of coincidental mistakes that further intertwined me progressively with my own artistic journey.
I’d been internally feuding with various elements of my own creative pursuits. Was I doing the right thing by leaving college for the sake of a career in the arts? Will leaving so much behind because I instinctively knew it was for the well being of creative nature to leave it behind pay off? Am I gonna regret embracing the many areas of myself that are not typical? The choice of getting the most of myself creatively has seemed to come at the expense of letting go of a lot of the familiarities in my life, and I was consistently questioning whether or not it was the right thing to do. Now that I think about it, my questioning and concerns shouldered a weight of anxieties that I sought to have lifted by any means necessary.
It was a Sunday morning. One of the many mornings where I had n’t slept night before. I was dwelling on images of my Dad (a devout Baptist minister) and I arguing about why I would n’t be attending church services that day. To attempt to achieve some sort of appealing feeling inside that usually flees upon my mulling over and over about the moral comfort amidst my creative pursuits versus those pursuits relation to my family, religion, and who or what ever I’ve felt I was relying on my leadership.
I ended up guiding myself to the Sundance Channel, or should I say the higher powers guided me there (if you believe in that kind of phenomena). I saw the show name Iconoclasts; something inside said check it out. So I pressed the information button on my remote, and it read something about interviews with Fiona Apple and Quentin Tarantino. Well, those are both favorite artists of mine, so I started thinking, “something divine likely is going on here”. Because things work that way. Things (life instances) seem coincidental, but it’s always something bigger going on behind it. That’s what I see as a major premise to the progressive journey of true and definitive art. With that said, I knew I likely needed to watch this show.
Lo and behold, I’m watching and listening to these two outstanding artists communicating both freely and literally about everything. With the synchronicity of it all, the entire event ended up changing my life as not only an artist but a human being.
That episode helped me feel better about being myself in its peculiarity and awkwardness. It also solidified my understanding on the idea that the journey of the true and evolving artist and enlightened human being is intricately woven in a tapestry of togetherness. All in all, everything is connected.
I’m grateful to the creator’s of the Iconoclasts series, and I watch it as it fits in with my availability to see it. I should add, it currently fits in pretty darn well too.

| I am really looking forward to Deepak Chopra and Mike Myers. It is an odd pairing in a way, you don't think about the two together. So it should be quite interesting.

| Wynton Marsalis and John Besh. Interested in seeing the interplay between jazz and the culinary arts. Wynton Marsalis is my favorite jazz musician of all time and seeing him in a setting outside of his element is something I am looking forward to watching.

| I would like to see George Foreman and Grandmaster James Samuels Phd. I think the two masters of boxing and Grandmaster Samuels style would be a splendid mix of imagination.

| I totally agree...but paring Wynton with a chef is really not too far away from his element. Being from New Orleans he may be able to share some of his knowledge of food as well. Should be very interesting...
