I am a huge proponent of Live from Abbey Road. It really is fantastic seeing these legendary (some) performers making their music in this iconic studio. Even the acts I'm not as jazzed about still manage to hold my attention in this atmosphere. My question is: Has there been any mention of Sundance releasing a CD from the Live from Abbey Road series? With 36 performers, you could take one song from each session and make a double disc. Has anyone heard any rumblings of this? I've seen every episode and would be happy to lend my thoughts to which tracks should make the cut. Just seems like a no-brainer.

I was wondering the same thing. I would definitely invest in a box set of some sort with all or some of the songs from the series. I think the sound is too vibrant to just let it live on television.

I want the whole set - no songs deleted! While I may not like some, I can fast forward over those! I wouldn't want the ones that I actually did want not to make it on the cd/dvd! I would pay a full cd price/dvd price just for the 3 song Damien Rice/Lisa Hannigan performance. And Nerina Pallot? Delicious! I hate for beautiful live music to be lost to us forever - it broke my heart when I couldn't have the version of Dwight Yoakam/Alisson Krause singing "If I were a carpenter" from the Johnny Cash tribute...

I'll keep my fingers crossed that both seasons (so far) make it onto one or the other format!!!! (I hope, I hope, I hope)
