Poor Renee Posted on Aug 23 2007 at 12:03am by Putting her opposite Amanpour was not very fair. Amanpour demonstrated a lot of patience but in the end ran complete circles around Renee. An interesting pairing for sure but Renee was totally out of her league. Maybe the idea was that Renee's popularity would draw more people to realize Christiane's insightfulness, intelligence and importance in media. Indeed, it would be a very positivie step in the right direction if Christiane had the same popularity as Renee or any other contemporary Hollywood actor.
