People need to be shown that we are just people too and not Jerry Springer freaks.
In the US there is extreme prejudice, ignorance and hatred against us. Many of us are killed and it is never reported. Most of us just want to vanish into the biomass. Sure, there's always going to be a few "LOOK AT ME!" types and those are the ones that the media focuses on and that's the image redneck America takes to heart. There are many, many more TG folks that no one ever knows about because they do it so smoothly and so perfectly that no one ever knows a thing. Just as it should be. What business is it of anyone of how I was born? I don't question you about your plumbing arrangement you were born with vs your current plumbing. Why question mine?
Please, let's put the ignorance behind us and wake people up. We need MORE compassionate and sensitive documentaries such as this one and NO MORE JERRY SPRINGER!

In my own life i've had to deal with parents who just dont get it, and are only concerned with what other people will say. It's as if they are ashamed of me. I hope some day my family will come to understand that i am still human, and come to learn that i have hopes and dreams just as they do. I really hope to see more shows like this one in the future. Its nice to see parents who actually care, love and accept there children for who they are.
