I agree. Both this season and the first were so entertaining. It's what reality TV should be: Examining the human condition with all it's pains and pluses. I found myself really rooting for these young ladies to develop some "couth". Everyone loves a "My Fair Lady" tale.

I hope Clara wins her Viscount---if that's what SHE wants!

I stumbled over this program 8 months ago out of boredom--I hate reality TV so I didn't give this much creedance. I was hooked. At first I thought it was fun to see the very prim instructors in comparison to the pretty rough characters with which they were dealing. I watched to conclusion and saw how much it meant to these girls---and what a life altering experience it was for them to pursue to the end. Even the girls who were "booted" seemed to benefit. So, it's not only enetertaining to watch--there a some socailly redeeming quality to the show that removes it from the current run of reality shows. I wish it had more exposure. The US equivilent is silly and seemingly nowhere nearly as entertaing nor helpful to the participants. MY hope is that it continues at Eggleston Hall and is continued to be televised.

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ don't cancel this show!!!! Truly interesting, emotion provoking television....SO RARE!!!! Particularly in reality tv. This show is so touching-makes me wonder if the "Ladies" really understand what's important in life. Their weekly "molding" of the Ladettes is heart wrenching and tragically human-who exactly needs changing???? and who needs love and acceptance????!!!!!!! All of us.
The Ladies of the show give the Ladettes the opportunity to develop some self-esteem, the only quality the girls truly need to break free of the addictive cycle that so many of them are trapped in. However, if they would allow the girls to choose talents from the areas that interest them then that would better aide them in their future. It would give them the self esteem they so desperately need for the difficult journey of self discovery and actualization, the most excellent path to success and happiness. What skill does being a debutante give you to carry on with a successful and vital life? Marrying a wealthy Englishman? hmmm.
Truly it is wonderful television-a view into the most secretive feelings of these girls and an opportunity to witness their vulnerability. Human connection. Wow. OH GOSH I"M BABBLING!! I can't help myself-I LOVE this show. Can't wait for season 1 to be available and looking forward to season 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.............

I think the life skills of a positive presentation to the world is what the teachers are trying to teach. Not necessarily how to marry a rich man. Although that skill has it's rewards. Feeling confident in your manner and dress helps everyone, everywhere. Not having good manners and dress skills will hold you back everywhere (except maybe girls mud wrestling).

I couldn't agree more! I hope this series gets more publicity because the things they are teaching these girls are exactly what our youth should be learning.

I am obsessed with this show!!! I just so happen to be flipping through the channels when season 1 first aired and I have been hooked ever since. Living in LA, I would kill for that kind of opportunity, to learn some culture and refinement and how to behave like a lady. And to see some of these girls just piss it all away, because they don’t want or know… that they should desire to want better for themselves is really sad. Keep the show going and have a season three in America…. PLEASE!!!!
