Last season I watched two and one half episodes of this series. I stopped watching because, although I liked the girls a great deal, I did not like the instructors at all. The instructors were always trying to get the girls to compete with each other. The girls were always wanting to co-operate with each other. This is the basic quality that I saw in the girls and such a great quality - that of co-operation.
I am not denying that some of their behavior was a bit extreme, perhaps someday they can find a way for their rebellious spirits to express itself in positive and socially meaningful ways. At the same time I hope they never lose either their strong wish to co-ioperate or their spirit of adventure.

| In defense of these instructors, they only have 6 weeks to turn these working class, hard drinking, mostly dri-hump dancers into someone that can hold her own in polite society.

| I didn't get the impression that the instructors were trying to get the girls to compete against each other. I think the instructors had (except clara) a rough group to mold. And that is what they are there for, to mold these women into ladies. They have to correct them when they make a mistake. Yes, they are fussing alot. But those words are some of the best life's lessons these girls can get, from a source that wants to help them. It's better that these instructors tell them what they are doing wrong than the real world.
