misrepresentation Posted on Dec 10 2006 at 7:40am by In wathcing Checkpoint, this is completlely yellow journalism. The Israeli checkpints are as what they should be, protecting people from Arab fundamentalists that strap bombs to their chests to kill innocent people. How can the borders be presumed clear of people who want to destroy life when the past has shown behavior otherwise. Why shouldnt a country take whatever measures necessary to prevent actions that have shown to be prevalent on a daily basis. There are 6 billion arabs surruonding a country the size of New Jersey that want to kill Jews. Not all of these 6 billion believe in this predicament but the vast majority would vote on it given the oppurtunity. Wake up, Islam means submission...submit to Muhammed...these people want to destroy western civilization and if you dont see this then you are blind. It goes back to the Crusades.
Given the circumstances, a hard line security policy is more than enough to warrant border current border measures in Israel. Try telling the other side of the story, as is the psychos that are allowed into Israel that go on to become human bombs and go on to kill the innocent so they can get to their 72 virgins. Logic dictates that they meet their virgins at the checkpoints, let the border guards help them reach their destiny a little sooner. F'ing liberals dont realize the bigger picture. Didnt 9/11 wake you up enough? What else does it take to get you to realize the bigger picture.

Islam has never condoned suicide, nor is there a promise of 72 virgins after death. Misrepresentation of the Qu'ran contributed to this poor insight into what is truly a peaceful religion. Not all Arabs want to oust Jews and many work daily alongside Israelis. Suicide bombings did not begin until the late 20th century. I think you must be blind to believe that such a blanket statement fully represents the arab/palestinian community. Terrorism is fed by occupation. Israel is conducting an illegal occupation of the palestinian terrories a direct refusal of an order given by the U.N. Islam does mean submission, however it is submission to Allah, the same god that both Christians and Jews revere. Not to mention that many palestinians are also christians and jews! In fact many arabs represnet different faiths. Islam also does not idolize Mohammed and your misinterpretation of facts proves your worthlessness on this issue. Do the world a favor, educate yourself of both sides in this horrible conflict that affects both sides and stop spreading the racism and hate.
