Any future documentaries? Posted on Aug 9 2006 at 10:03pm by I had Dark Days in my Blockbuster queue for over a year. Finally, today I got the opportunity to watch it. What a humble, brilliant, courageous documentary! I recommend that anyone renting this DVD, be sure not to short change yourself by not watching the extras. Marc's 'Making of Dark Days' was inspiring. It proved that with your heart in the right place and you are doing a project for the right reasons, everything falls into place. The music by dj Shadow was amazing. I have been a fan of his music for years and had no idea going into the movie that Shadow did the music.
I was wondering if anybody knew what happened afer Marc won 5 awards at the 2000 SFI awards. Maybe he felt like his work was done in the film arena. The movie's site is gone, etc. I find this a shame, as documentaries like this one should live on and continue to affect positive change.
