These guys are great. They absolutely remember those who've loved them from the begining. Unlike other bands who you see now-a-days, this band's issues are real. They also truely believe in music. Not a paycheck!!! No bling, bling b.s. so popular with the young punk crowd. In fact, i'd love to see how they really live.
They also believe in true music of the heart. Not often do you find bands willing to get dropped on purpose a big lable in retalliation for a lack of love by the executives. Music today often forgets about the classics. Not this band, between the classical references in the lyrics and the dedication of Ryan, their verrrry talented violinist, you may even find a willingness to overlook dark overtones by the older crowd and you will find many parents enjoying a concert with their children. And isn't that always great, I mean I was young and I find it is often hard to connect with my children, but Blue October's brilliant blend of mood, vibrance and classical references makes their music irresistable to my whole family.
Also, thanks jusin, jeremy, ryan, matt and c.b. for being great performers. I have been a fan for eight years. My husband and i even have our wedding rings tatooed, such as in the lyrics of The Answer. This last spring Justin even remembered me on the street and stopped to sing with my daughter. There's nothing better than being appreciated.
Love you guys!!! karla
