This programme really succeeds in making me want to watch the next episode. Like most reality/documentary programmes it is 'car crash TV' - you can't look away even though you want to. It has me cringing with excitemnt at the joke that Ozwald Boateng is.
As an English man in New York the general opinion of Ozwald Boateng back in the UK is that of someone with awful taste. YUK. He is not a true Saville Row tailor as his shop is on Vigo Street. Why call it " Bespoke Couture" when essentially both words mean the same thing? Couture is a French word refering to women's garments made by hand, whilst bespoke is an English tailoring term. This just goes to show how Boateng is grabbing at staws and does not know what he is talking about.
Such a great show about such a bad designer. I love it.
Wow, I could not agree less. I have to say that I think that Boateng's suits are some the most beautiful garmets that most men will ever wear. As for the name, I think it is perfect. It gives the shopper an idea of just how luxurious the suits treuly are. I knew less than I should about him before this show came on, and since I have really gotten to like him more and more. Each person I have spoken to has agreed with me on that. I'll have to say that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you and I are on the opposite sides of the fence here. I guess we can shake on both loving the show...for whatever reason! ;)
