New to Indie's

I have been viewing indie's now for about 6 months now. I truly enjoy and am moved by a lot of the work i have had the privledge of embracing. I would like to hear from other supporters as to how I may be more involved with indie ( such as support) and maybe some of you could perhaps suggest some work that would help me to be more of a credible Indie viewer.
