love this show! Posted on May 30 2006 at 5:28pm by I just watched my first episode of Kath and Kim. I thought is was hysterically funny. I wish I could get subtitles so I could catch every little bit of the dialalogue. I plan to keep watching this charming comtemporary comedy with its' brilliant actors!!

RE: love this show! Posted on Aug 24 2006 at 2:26pm by My girlfriend and I are totally addicted to this show. We even instant message each other phonetically in K & K speak and use our best Fountain Lakes Aussie accents when speaking to each other.
We wish it were on 24/7!
We are only able to view what the Sundance Channel gives us. I've gone to the ABC (Austraila) website to shop for the DVD's of each series and to get "Da Kath and Kim Code" movie from 2005, but unfortunately the only sell them formatted for that particular region of the world, i.e. they won't work in American DVD players.
Does anyone know how to get U.S.-formatted DVD's of the foxy-morons?

I am addicted to K and K! I watch each show 2-3 times to try and catch the nuances, and still find something that I missed!kath is really the best...remember "a kiss for a carriage"? . This series is definately different,noice,unusual....I can feel it in me waters!

I love this series, and wish that Sundance would buy and screen the comedy series "Seachange"; just as funny as K&K and yet another look at life in Oz.
If you're really into K&K -- buying a multisystem vcr or universal dvd player will enable to you to play PAL tapes and Aussie dvds. Best of luck.

Buy the Australian DVD and go to Circuit City - talk to the people there, they sell a DVD player for $19 that will play any DVD from across the world - worked for me. I own every DVD and the Davinci Code Telemovie (all in Oz format.) Hilaroius! I recommend another mock-u-mentary called "we can be heroes: findinh the Australian of the year" not by Riley and Turner, but hilarious Aussie entertainment at its best!

RE: love this show! Posted on Dec 30 2006 at 10:22pm by I am so upset. My Tivo is set to record every K and K episode, but since the movie wasn't titled K and K, I only caught the last 30 minutes as I was flipping channels.
I also love the show, I became enamored with Aussie culture on my trip there 4 years ago. This helps fill a void until I can go again.

Jane and Gina who play Kath and Kim did most all of the writing as well as creating the characters. I recommend you visit Ebay as the complete seasons DVD's(1,2,3) are available as a 6 DVD set. You'll need an all region DVD player as they are region 4 DVD's. Most computers will play them no problem and cheap DVD players often will or have a "hack" that allows all regions to play. Good luck and keep watching..........but I don't know when Sundance will play them again.
