Oh, you silly girl. Can they feel it? Ha! Ladybird, they rock it. And trust: you could learn some tricks from them that’ll get you out of that fuzzy onesie and onto the Push Girls’ dance floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, stop chewing your nails to the quick and turn on your boob tubes – what you’ve been waiting for for months has finally arrived: the second season of Push Girls is back and holy hell, Batgirl, is it a doozy! This season our heroines are hotter than ever as they roll on the sexy side of life: making out, making up and well, you’ll have to watch to see the rest.

The late 70′s and early 80′s were not always kind to New York in film – for every MANHATTAN or FAME, we had an ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK or THE WARRIORS. We’re featuring that last film this week, a cult classic that achieved that status because it’s both a real expression of the fear we all felt for where the city was headed… but it’s also kind of hilarious. “Warriors – you guys are the big dudes!”

SUNDANCE CHANNEL WINS AT THE 3RD ANNUAL CRITICS’ CHOICE TELEVISION AWARDS

Elisabeth Moss and “Push Girls” Take Home Awards

LOS ANGELES, June 10, 2013 – Sundance Channel received top honors tonight at the 3rd Annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards for both its original scripted and unscripted programming, winning two awards for TOP OF THE LAKE and PUSH GIRLS. The honors were handed out by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association at The Beverly Hilton.

Sundance Channel announced today the greenlight of a new original non-fiction series “Dream School.” Multi-platinum award-winning musician and entrepreneur Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will executive produce under his G-Unit Films and Television banner and appear in the show. The series format was created by Jamie Oliver who will also executive produce under his Fresh One shingle. The announcement was made today by Sarah Barnett, Sundance Channel President. The series is slated to premiere in fall 2013.

Daniel Day-Lewis, Al Pacino, Kathy Bates, Robert Redford, Dustin Hoffman… all great actors who happened to have career-defining roles in our films this week. Whether initially putting them on the Hollywood map or finally garnering them the recognition they always deserved, this week’s films are all actors’ films in every way they can be.

Travel back in time with our films this week, to DANGEROUS LIAISONS’ Rococo period France, THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO’S 1950′s Sweden, or THE LIVES OF OTHERS’ 1980′s Cold War Germany.
