Sundance Channel announced today the greenlight of a new original non-fiction series “Dream School.” Multi-platinum award-winning musician and entrepreneur Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will executive produce under his G-Unit Films and Television banner and appear in the show. The series format was created by Jamie Oliver who will also executive produce under his Fresh One shingle. The announcement was made today by Sarah Barnett, Sundance Channel President. The series is slated to premiere in fall 2013.

The network’s second wholly owned original scripted series is picked up for six one-hour episodes and hails from acclaimed writer Aaron Guzikowski (CONTRABAND, PRISONERS) and veteran producer Sarah Condon (BORED TO DEATH).

Pasadena, CA – January 5, 2013 –Sundance Channel announced the greenlight of new original non-fiction series THE WRITERS’ ROOM.  Presented by Sundance Channel and Entertainment Weekly, the six episode half-hour series will take viewers where they have never been before—inside the writers’ rooms of the television shows that are defining pop culture today. The announcement was made today by Sarah Barnett, Sundance Channel General Manager. The series is slated to premiere during the second half of 2013.
