We No Speak Americano
Anyone who has made it to Europe this past summer undoubtedly heard Yolanda B Cool’s novelty record “We No Speak Americano.” I was there towards the end of the summer for two weeks and seriously heard the song 100 plus times. Which was fine by me. It’s infectious. Fun. Makes you move your feet.
Now people on the internets are watching the above video just as often as they’re spinning the record in Europe. Suzanne Cleary and Peter Harding, Irish dancers, have created a video that is just as infectious. And fun. And you will move your feet. Trust me, lady.
They’re Up And Over It collective, Irish dancing for the post-pop generation, created this little gem. I am in love with everything and everyone involved with it.
