Majora Carter's ECO HEROES: Sherry Strong
Sherry Strong believes that food and nutrition are the gateways to living a healthier life in a cleaner world. In her work as a chef and a nutritionist, Sherry educates people about the benefits of organic food and non-processed meals.
Food dominates many issues of public concern these days, as obesity, diabetes and malnourishment are some of the most deadly health risks in the world. One especially shocking sentiment about food is the fact that many obese people are over fed but malnourished, meaning that the food they eat has lost much of its nutritional value. These pver-processed foods can fill you up but they do not power you up.
